RETIREMENT NOTICE

Dr. Caroline Wong has retired as of March 31, 2024. Dr. Wong's patient records will be staying at our practice. Dr. Glenda Thai will be providing ongoing care to Dr. Wong's patients and will have access to your past eye exams. Dr. Thai is also accepting new patients. We are excited for you to meet Dr. Thai and know you will continue to receive the same compassionate and great care you did with Dr. Wong. 

OHIP COVERAGE CHANGES

As of September 1st,  2023 there are changes to OHIP coverage. If your eye exam was perviously covered by OHIP please follow the link below to see if you will continue to have coverage.

If you are a current patient of ours and are currently experiencing an eye emergency please use the form below to request an urgent appointment. Please note that urgent care is available Tuesdays to Thursdays 10am-4pm and Fridays 10am-3pm. 

How often should I come in for an eye exam?

Infant: A child's first eye exam should be at 6 months old

Toddler: A child's next eye exam should be at 2-3 years old

School Aged Child (4+): Yearly eye exams recommended

Children on myopia control: Follow ups every 3-12 months


​Healthy Adults Aged 20-64 years old: Every 2 years

Adults with pre-existing ocular conditions or a family history of ocular conditions: Every 12 months or sooner

​

Healthy Seniors (65+ years old): Every 18 months

Seniors with pre-existing visual conditions or health conditions: Every 12 months or sooner

​

Individuals with Diabetes: Every 12 months (or sooner if there are ocular complications)
