OPTOMETRIST JOB ACTION
Due to 30+ years of OHIP funding neglect by the Ontario government Optometrist province wide have entered job action as of September 1st. During the job action Optometrists are not providing any OHIP insured eye exams, including eye exams for children, seniors, and diabetic patients.

We are located in the heart of Streetsville, and service the Mississauga, Brampton, and Halton communities.
Comprehensive Eye Exams
A comprehensive eye exam is recommended once every 2 years for healthy adults, and once a year for diabetics and seniors.
Pediatric & Infant Eye Care
It is recommended that your child's first eye exam is at 6 months of age. Children's eye exams are critical to ensure they are set up for learning and development.

Dr. Marina Ceaus
Dr. Marina Ceaus was born in Romania but grew up in North York, Ontario. She attended York University for her undergraduate degree and received her Doctor of Optometry with honours from the University of Waterloo. In her final year, she did her ocular disease placement at Vision America of Mobile in Alabama, where she received extensive training in retinal and optic nerve conditions, strabismus, pediatrics and corneal disease. Since graduating, she has worked in private practice, as a vision therapist, in an ophthalmology clinic and in low vision. After finishing school, Dr. Ceaus enhanced her skills in the area of vision therapy and enjoys providing care to children and adults with binocular vision problems, strabismus, concussions and brain injuries.
Dr. Ceaus is passionate about eyecare, and more over, passionate about your family's vision and health. She loves children and is a big advocator of annual children's eye exams. She is dedicated to work with you and your health care team to ensure that you and your family's vision is well taken care of. She has experience in the management of diseases such as macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetes. Dr. Ceaus also offers vision therapy at her office and focusses her practice on the treatment of learning related vision disorders, strabismus, and concussions. Dr. Ceaus is a member of the the College of Optometrists of Ontario and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, their daughter and their dog Toby (who you may sometimes see at the office).
