Meet The Optometrists

Dr. Marina Ceaus was born in Romania but grew up in North York, Ontario. She attended York University for her undergraduate degree and received her Doctor of Optometry with honours from the University of Waterloo. In her final year, she did her ocular disease placement at Vision America of Mobile in Alabama, where she received extensive training in retinal and optic nerve conditions, strabismus, and corneal disease. She has observed many surgeries such as cataract, corneal transplants, retinal detachment, and lid surgeries. Since graduating, she has worked in private practice, in an ophthalmology clinic and in low vision. After finishing school, Dr. Ceaus enhanced her skills by working as a vision therapist with children with binocular vision problems, strabismus and individuals with brain injuries.

Dr. Ceaus is passionate about eyecare, and more over, passionate about your family's vision and health. She loves children and is known for trying to make each eye exam a magical experience. She is dedicated to work with you and your health care team to ensure that you and your family's vision is well taken care of. She has experience in the management of diseases such as macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetes. Dr. Ceaus also offers vision therapy at her office and focusses her practice on the treatment of learning related vision disorders, strabismus, and concussions. Dr. Ceaus is a member of the  the College of Optometrists of Ontario and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their dog Toby (who you might sometimes see at the office).
